Physical and Chemical Properties

Erucamide is a waxy, odorless solid with a molecular structure containing a long carbon chain and a polar amide group, giving it excellent surface activity and good heat stability, suitable for higher processing temperatures, as well as long-lasting smoothness and excellent anti-sticking effect. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone, xylene, and other solvents, flash point: around 230℃, and the product is environmentally friendly and non-toxic (passed non-toxic testing), allowing it to be used in food containers and food packing materials (GB9685). This product has passed SGS Green Environmental Protection Testing, in compliance with the EU RoHS environmental directive.

Product Application

  • • Used as a slip agent and opening agent for PP, CPP, BOPP, LDPE, LLDPE, EVA, PVC, PVDF, PVDC, PU films, and multilayer co-extruded films. • Effective for high-transparency agricultural films, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, and metallocene polyethylene. • Benefits: Significantly reduces dynamic and static friction, improves processability, and enhances packaging efficiency.

  • • Provides smoothness, anti-sticking, and anti-soiling for printing inks. • Delays settling of pigments and fillers and facilitates redispersion. • Improves abrasion and scratch resistance, giving a smooth, high-quality surface finish.

  • • Functions as a release agent, internal flow aid, and lubricant for chlorinated rubber, fluoro-rubber, EPDM, TPE-olefin, and PP/PE bottle caps. • Enhances processing, demolding, and surface finish in rubber and elastomer applications.

  • • Acts as a release agent, surface smoothness and brightness enhancer for TPE, TEO, TPU, fluoro-rubber, and engineering plastics. • Serves as lubricant for LDPE calendered artificial leather, fiber materials, non-woven fabrics, and entertainment chips. • Used for high-wear plastics like PA (gears, shaft seals, bushings, slide plates) and as a lubricant/dispersant for ABS graphite fiber-modified materials. • Also effective as anti-adhesive in hot melt adhesives

Packaging and Storage

Composite bag packaging, net weight of 20kg or 25kg per bag, 1000kg per pallet, packaging complies with international regulations, should be protected from direct sunlight and rain during transportation, storage period is 1 year. It is recommended to store in a dark, cool, and ventilated place, temperatures exceeding 35℃ may cause clumping or discoloration. The product can still be used after passing inspection 1 year later, storage and transportation should follow general industrial chemical regulations.
